#1: I was raised in a small town in northern Wisconsin.
#2: I act fast, but would rather be called decisive than impulsive.
#3: I founded a bike shop called Gladys Bikes in 2012 and sold it in 2020. It was the hardest job I've ever had, and also the most rewarding.
#4: I love public speaking, especially of the storytelling variety, and sometimes feel more at ease in front of hundreds of people than I do 1:1.
#5: I have a Port-Wine Stain splashing across my right cheek and down my neck. I used to consider is a blemish, but now I think of it as a superpower.
#6: I can remember what almost every single person I know was wearing the first time I met them. This has yet to prove useful in any way.
#7: When I was 20 years old my boss told me that I was "ideaphoric". I've used that word on every resume I've written since.
#8: In the span of one year, I was quoted in both Men's Health and Cosmopolitan. The thirteen year old inside of me was quite tickled.
#9: At age 16, I was invited to sit on a panel with Al Gore and discuss the future of women in technology. I got nervous and didn't say a word.
#10: I have a hobby of making slide decks and then presenting them to myself. Some people needlepoint, I PowerPoint.
